Dale Hartz is a “practitioner scholar, bridging the worlds of academia and practice.” He’s the executive director of Better Future Facilitators and a doctoral research advisor in the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western. He also teaches sustainability at Walsh University and does management consulting work in the area of leadership development and human and organization performance.

Dale loves the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail and recently completed his first Century Ride. He has a “perfect wife and a wonderful adult daughter.”

When asked why he wants to take over Summit Peeks for a week, Dale answered: “I want to share positive stories about #highpotentialhomeless people that are taking a new path from being homeless to becoming social entrepreneurs. Traditionally our society thinks in terms of #highpotential people and #homeless people, but never #highpotentialhomeless people. It’s powerful when you realize the latter. We are paving a new path in Northeast Ohio for #highpotentialhomeless that currently does not exist anywhere else in the country [so they can] become social entrepreneurs and in turn [we can] help solve a small portion of the homeless crisis.”
